Bluetooth 4.0 coming soon.

The 4 th version of the wireless Bluetooth interface technology has recently received approval from the organization of Bluetooth Special Interest Group ( SIG). SIG reports the device with Bluetooth 4.0 , will appear on the horizon by the end of the year. According to a press release, the new features of Bluetooth 4.0 increased data rates, low power consumption, and increased range. This will be a great enhancement in wireless technology . We can see more of wireless devices based on Bluetooth (like printers, phones, ear phones, other peripheral devices).

Bluetooth 4 devices can provide data rates up to 24 Mbps (this is 8 times more than what it provides now), the power consumption will be decreased by almost half and Range will be enhanced to 100 meters and more. The Bluetooth will be secure as it will be transmitting data using protocol encryption AES 128- bit key.

this is going to change the blurtooth world....very good
